Q. Is The New Academy accredited?
A. In order to apply for accreditation, the school must have at least 25 students, do standardized testing and maintain a portfolio program. Normally, this process takes three years to complete. The standardized testing and portfolio programs are in place. Though we are a new school, we are proud to announce that we now have the minimum number of students to start the accredidation process.
Q. What are normal school hours?
A. School begins at 9:00am and ends at 3:30pm. Friday dismissal is 1:20pm.
Q. What is the school dress code?
A. Students will wear polo shirts with the school logo. On PE days, students will wear t-shirts with the school logo. Both shirt types are available for purchase through the school office. Students may wear shorts, pants, or jeans. Girls may wear skirts. Shorts and skirts must be an appropriate length for school. The waistband of pants or shorts must be worn at the waist. No undergarments should be visible. Open toed shoes are not allowed.
